Thomas Thirlby (c. 1500–1570) was an English bishop. He remained loyal to the
Roman Catholic Church during theEnglish Reformation .He was the
Bishop of Westminster between 1540 and 1550. He was then madeBishop of Norwich until 1554, then becameBishop of Ely . In 1559, he was deposed as Bishop of Ely by the newly-acceded Queen Elizabeth.External links
