Andy Barron

Andy Barron is a photographer best known for his work with the band Switchfoot, with which he has worked since 2002 and now tours with.

Barron graduated from Biola University with a B.S. degree in Art/Graphic design, where he worked on the student newspaper and as the Associated Students' graphic designer [ [http://www.andybarron.com AndyBarron.com] - (retrieved Nov. 20, 2006)] . He got to know Switchfoot when he shot them for the school paper and then ran into Chad Butler afterwards at the In-N-Out near the Biola campus, and Butler wanted to see more of the photos he had taken [ [http://www.landofbrokenhearts.org/andyinterview.htm Interview with Andy] - (retrieved Nov. 20, 2006)] .

His work has been featured in many publications, including the cover of Pollstar Magazine, VH1, MTV and others [ [http://www.andybarron.com AndyBarron.com] - (retrieved Nov. 20, 2006)] .

Andy has a devoted group of fans known as Fandy Barrons. This name was coined by Switchfoot's lead singer Jon Foreman at a show at Northern Lights in Clifton Park, NY. This was in response to the crowd's repeated shouting and cheering for Andy.
