Preston curve

Preston curve

Preston curve is the relationship between a country's life expectancy and its real per capita income. It is named after Samuel H. Preston (1975). He described it in his article "The Changing Relation between Mortality and Level of Economic Development" Population Studies 29, pp. 231-248
