The area around Estancía Roque contains farmlands within the village and its small valley, the crater of
Chã das Caldeiras is to the northwest and forms the gateway into the nation's tallest mountain, grasslands and rocks lies to the north, theAtlantic Ocean can be seen to the south and southeast.
