Pothencode is Devoleping area of Thiruvananthapuram District in Kerala, India.Renowned spiritual leader Brahma sri Swami Satayananda Saraswathy founder of Punniyabhumi Daily and Karunakara Guru lived in this place and Santhigiri Ashram situated here. Famous Panimoola temple is situating 2 km from Pothencode.

Pothencode is one of the most eminent place in trivandrum district(situated Latitude 8' 28" North and longitude 76' 55" East) and famous for paddy fields and vegetable fields, one of the public libaray also their named pothencode public libaray.It is also one of the famous marketing place in trivandrm district.
