July 10 ,1923 -) is a much-recorded German classical pianist.Kehrer was born in
Tiflis , Georgia to a family of piano-makers who had emigrated fromSwabia , Germany.His recording career lasted for over 40 years (1961-2001) in many diverse locations, including
Moscow ,Kiev ,Weimar ,Remagen ,Eggenberg ,Munich ,Berlin ,Jena ,Szeged ,Prague ,Cologne , Meppen,Busch ,Montabaur ,Tokyo ,Alsfeld ,Overath andEisenach .An extensive collection of his recordings is preserved in the Rudolf Kehrer Archive in
Overath .Kehrer now resides in
