The Rider's Digest started out in 1997 as a photocopied newsletter for
London couriers, but by the beginning of 2006 it had evolved into a full colour glossy A5magazine covering all aspects ofmotorcycling .Many 'Celebrities' including bestselling Scottish novelist
Iain Banks , motorcycle & truck racerSteve Parrish , Prince of DarknessDavid Vanian , and Radio 1 DJMary Anne Hobbs have responded to the 10 "Rider's Lives" questions.The Rider's Digest went national in May 2008 with issue 127 and 32,000 free copies of the independent magazine are now being distributed monthly through rider venues, courier companies, dealers, workshops, accessory and clothing outlets, tyre fitters, advanced motorcycling groups and training schools throughout the UK - making it the country's third most widely read motorcycle magazine.
The magazine's title resembles that of the world-wide magazine, "
Reader's Digest ".
