Samoa competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain.

Nauruan weightlifter and future president Marcus Stephen obtained Samoan citizenship and competed for Samoa at the 1992 Olympics. Nauru had no Olympic Committee at the time.
