Lars Hajslund

Lars Hajslund was elected Junior Chamber International (JCI) President at the 60th JCI World Congress held in Vienna, Austria, in October 2005.

Born on February 6, 1968, in Dronninglund, Denmark, Hajslund holds a degree in Hotel Management and is the owner of a consulting and training company, keys2passion, which serves international companies in Europe in the field of leadership training and strategic development. He resides in the beautiful city of Silkeborg with his wife Solfrid and their three children.

Since joining JCI Brnderslev, Denmark, in 1993 and later as a member of JCI Silkeborg, he has participated in various local, regional, national and international activities, serving as President of his local organization in 1996 and as National President in 2000.

In 2001, as JCI Vice President, Hajslund was assigned to eight European countries. As JCI Executive Vice President in 2002, he was assigned to Area C and chaired the Conference of the Americas in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He was JCI University Director in 2004 and Chief Executive Assistant to the President in 2005.

As part of his JCI career, Hajslund has traveled to more than 60 countries and has attended 14 JCI Area Conferences and seven JCI World Congresses. He is JCI Senator No. 60.001 and is an International Training Fellow of the JCI University.

During his term of office, Hajslund visited many countries where JCI is established. In these travels, he met JCI members, heads of state and community leaders worldwide, and promoted the organization and its slogan, Entrepreneurs in Action.
