game server browser designed by Italian programmer Luigi Auriemma. It helps online gamers find game servers. "gslist" is under active development since 2002.The
open source software gslist differs from competitors because its primary purpose is the retrieval of encrypted server-databases of its competitors, therefore usage and to some extent discussion inside theUnited States most likely violates several patents and laws.Use of "gslist" is required to retrieve closed lists of servers from Gamespy Master Servers for games without public Master Servers like the Battlefield series."gslist" also offers limited scanner features.
"gslist" interacts with the user primarily through a
