Daniel Arnaldo Roman

Daniel Arnaldo Román (April 21, 1974 born in Ponce, Puerto Rico), is a painter, musician, video-artist and designer.Román was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico's second largest city which is located on the southern coast of the island. He received his primary and secondary education in Jayuya, a town located in the central region of the island. Since childhood he enjoyed drawing, painting and music, all which later lead him to pursue studies in fine arts at School of Fine Arts of Puerto Rico] ( known as the "Escuela de Artes Plasticas de Puerto Rico" in Spanish).

In 2005 he along with his wife and longtime creative partner Lilliam Nieves began a design project which they call "Grupo Probeta". Although at that time he didn't had barely any knowledge of computer science, he managed to pursue and follow the current trends found in contemporary design regardlessly.

On 2006 he co-founded the magazine "Trance Liquido", a magazine that serves as forum for musicians, designers, artists and writers. His painting style is often classified as Expressionist Post-Pop. His work is currently in art collections located in Puerto Rico, New York, the Netherlands, and Washington, DC.
