- Ryder Center
Ryder Center is an athletics and recreational complex located on the campus of
Saginaw Valley State University inUniversity Center, Michigan . It was built in 1985 and is home to SVSU Cardinals sports teams.The Ryder Center consists of the following facilities:
* Cardinal Gym a 620-seatvolleyball gym nasium with convert|9919|sqft|m2|0 of space.
* James E. O'Neill Arena, the flagship facility of the complex and a 3,932-seatindoor arena used forbasketball ; it can seat up to 4,932 forconcerts and features convert|11284|sqft|m2|0 of space.Adjacent is an indoor track with an additional convert|60970|sqft|m2|0 of space and seating 531 spectators.The Center is also used for conventions and trade shows. It also contains a weight room and fitness center as well as a
natatorium seating 700 spectators.Outdoor facilities include
Wickes Stadium , a 684-seat outdoor track (Morley Track), tentennis courts, a 384-seatbaseball field, a 384-seatsoftball field and a 270-seatsoccer field.External links
