The Faculty of Arts is one of the constituent faculties of McGill University. It is the university's largest faculty. Established in 1843, it has over 250 tenured or tenure-track professors, over 6,000 undergraduate students, and over 1,000 graduate students. The faculty has an active students' union known as the Arts Undergraduate Society of McGill University.

Departments

The faculty is made up of Departments which are responsible for program delivery. Departments range in size from 70 to 1,500 students and are complemented by interdisciplinary programs run by various Institutes and Centres which are affiliated with the Faculty.
