"Abarema" is a neotropical genus of large trees from the legume family (Fabaceae). They grow from Mexico ("Abarema idiopoda") to Bolivia. Most of the species can be found in the Amazon Basin and the Guyana Highlands. They have a deep-green fernlike foliage, with bipinnately compound leaves. For lack of a better name, they are collectively caleld abaremas.
