Affectionately known as "the Hill",the school mascot is the "Pirate" GRRRRRR!, Parish Hill Middle/High School teaches grades 7 to 12 to students from three local towns: Chaplin, Hampton and Scotland. Parish Hill and the elementary schools in these three towns make up Regional District #11.

Recently, due to poor tests scores and high per pupil costs, the three sending towns of Scotland, Chaplin and Hampton are exploring the options of withdrawal from, dissolving of or re-envisioning the high school.
