Wild Horses were a British band who at an early stage featured former Wings guitarist Jimmy McCulloch, it was formed by Thin Lizzy guitarist Brian Robertson and former Rainbow bassist Jimmy Bain, the main band included former Pat Travers and Uli Roth drummer Clive Edwards and UFO and Gary Moore guitarist/keyboardist Neil Carter who was later replaced by former The Next Band guitarist John Lockton for the 'Stand Your Ground' album and Japanese tour. They made two albums for EMI and toured with Rush and Ted Nugent as well as headlining their own tours. They played at Reading on two occasions and had a great reputation for good musicianship, although slightly let down by the weak vocals of Jimmy Bain, they needed a powerful front man to match the band. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
