Dawn Principe (born Dawn Vivienne Principe on
October 19 ,1963 ) is a female bodybuilder.Biography
Principe was born in
Encino, California . Of Italian, Sicilian, Sioux Indian, and Black Irish descent, she grew up in southernCalifornia as one of five children, with 1 brother and 3 sisters.Dawn became interested in bodybuilding in the early 1980s, and competed in her first show in 2000, the Max Muscle Naturals. In that contest, she placed 1st in the Novice Women’s middleweight class, 2nd in the Women’s Unlimited middleweight class, and 4th in the Novice Women’s heavyweight class (the contest organizers incorrectly had her entered in two classes).
Principe placed second in the 2005 California State Championships. That qualified her for the 2006 NPC USA Championship, where she placed 10th in the middleweight class.
