Barbara Perry is a
New South Wales Australian Labor Party politician representing the stateelectoral district of Auburn , born on May 9, 1963.Perry is the daughter of Lebanese immigrants, Ralph and Susan Abood, and is married with five sons. She was educated by the
Sisters of Charity and theMarist Brothers . She graduated in law from theUniversity of Sydney and worked at the Legal Aid Commission from 1990. She was the first woman of Lebanese origin to be elected to the Legislative Assembly. [cite web
