Elza Jakubek, is an Hungarian model. She modeled for top agency, Marilyn Agency, in Paris and New York as well as "Why Not Models" in Milan, where she was an up and coming model.

After being dropped from Marilyn for undisclosed reasons, Jakubek was offered a job to model for Project Runway, a popular American series hosted by fellow model, Heidi Klum. She was hit by a bus, while riding her bicycle, during the taping of the final episodes of the series and had to undergo extensive operations in a New York hospital.
