steamboat built inShelburne, Vermont in 1906. It operated as a day boat onLake Champlain serving ports along theNew York andVermont shores until 1953. In 1955, the ship was moved two miles overland from the lake toShelburne Museum and restored to its 1923 appearance. It is one of the last walking beam side-wheel passengersteamboats in existence.It was declared a
