SMK Jitra

SMK Jitra or officially, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Jitra is a Malaysian public secondary school in the township of Jitra, Kedah Darul Aman. SMK Jitra is one public schools in Kedah and have a few students in Malaysian Certificate of Education ("Malay":Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia).

It is one of Malaysia's smart school. In 2005, it has won the "Anugerah Kualiti Menteri Pelajaran" for the secondary school category.

In addition, SMK Jitra also provides those form six students in Kedah to further their study. There is one thing which is very special of this school, it had be the champion of the national bahasa Melayu Debate Competition for year 2006 and the fist runner-up for year 2007.
