Brestov is a village and municipality in Prešov District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.In historical recordswhich|date=June 2008 the village was first mentioned in 1229.It lies at an altitude of 321 metres and covers an area of 10.369 km². It has a population of about 455 people.fact|date=June 2008
