William Vandry Is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu Black Belt under Carlos Machado and the Machado brothers, nephews of the founder of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, the late Carlos Gracie. Vandry resides in Austin, Texas where he operates and teaches at his academy Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Vandry has competed since 1996, and has earned one Gold, Two Silver and one fourth place finish at the prestigious Pan American world Championship. At 6 feet, 230lbs. solid, Vandry is a super-heavyweight black belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, and has competed at competitions since he was blue belt status.

Vandry is an innovator of the Leglock game, submissions locking the knees, twisting ankles or the foot, and compressions on the calves or thighs.

Vandry operates and teaches out of his headquarters in Austin, Texas. Vandry also has Training Association schools under his formal organized associations in Texas. Vandry has association academies in Luling, Brownsville (www.galvansmartialarts.com) and Victoria, Texas. (www.stbjj.com). Vandry's association acadeies are taught by certified, and authorized Instructors.

Vandry has a background in real estate investments and attended college at CTC, Hall Institute and St. Mary's. Vandry's education is in Real Estate, Sports medicine, psychology and criminal justice.
