playwright andcomposer fromNew York City . By his own claim his work is composed solely ofcomedies , although the serious core at the heart of many of his plays seems to contradict that claim somewhat. He received a B.A. fromKenyon College inGambier, Ohio in 1981.Work in the theatre

Twinges " played inNew York City Fall 2002 and garnered kudos from the NY press. His short "Scene Analysis for Fun & Profit " was a finalist for theActors Theatre of Louisville Heideman Award and, along with his short "Men's", has been produced in festivals everywhere fromSeattle toLondon . His full-length plays "Tragedy" and "subCity" had recentNew York City runs and his play "Hemlock, a Greek Diner Tragedy " premiered inDallas to critical raves. Bob's work is regularly published in theSmith and Kraus "Best Stage Scenes" and "Best Monologues" series. He was also awarded a commission byPraxis Theatre Project inNew York City which resulted in his play "The New Life".Bob is also a minor music composer who has written over 200 songs. His plays "
