St. Catherine's Church of England Primary School

St. Catherine's Church of England Primary School

St Catherine's Church of England Primary School is a Church of England primary school for ages 3-11 located in Ware, Hertfordshire, England.

In late 2006 it was placed in "special measures" by Hertfordshire Local Education Authority after Ofsted reported that the school was failing to provide an adequate education. The report also stated that weakness identified in a 2001 report had not been rectified. At the time it was the only school in the county under such special measures.

The report was not entirely negative, noting that the school was a "happy place" with well-behaved pupils.
