- Yanks Air Museum
The Yanks Air Museum is a non-profit organization focused on American aviation located at the
Chino Airport inChino, California . The aircraft collection numbers about 120 aircraft from most aviation eras, ranging from 1920's biplanes, through varied World War Two aircraft up to early and modern jet aircraft. Rare types on display include theRyan Brougham ,American Eagle A-101 ,Stearman 4D ,Cessna AW ,Bell P-39 Airacobra and North American FJ-1 Fury.The museum has two large display hangars open to the public. Also, unusually, public access is permitted, on a supervised basis, to the main restoration hangar where historic aircraft can be seen in various stages of overhaul, from bare frames to nearly complete projects, worked to a high standard, some to fully airworthy condition.
There is a long term strategic plan to open an additional large public facility in
