Jeff Harding (born April 6, 1969 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is a retired professional ice hockey player. He played in the NHL for the Philadelphia Flyers.
Playing career
The Toronto,Canada native starred on the St. Michael's Buzzers and was a product of the Canadian National Team Program before being selected 30th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1987 NHL draft out of high school. After spending a year at Michigan State University, Harding signed a 3 year contract with Flyers. Harding played in Phialdelphia in 1988,89 but suffered a broken patella bone and severed several tendons. Following his time in Philadelphia he played for the Canadian National Team competing in the Spenglar and Izvestia Cup. The young forward was then signed by the Minnisota North Stars splitting the 1990 season between the NHL and the American Hockey League. Harding played in the AHL for two years before retiring in 1992. Today, he teaches Health and Physical Education.
