ATC was founded in 2003. Now, it's the largest department of Microsoft China's research and development group. It's initialized as a group of "Microsoft Research Asia" (MSRA) and then became an independent R&D group of Microsoft. The goal of ATC is to attract software talents in China and develop products for global market.
It is headed by Hongjiang Zhang.
