Sahl ibn Sa'd al-Sa'idi was one of the prominent Sahaba, Ansar [ [http://www.al-islam.org/thaqalayn/nontl/Nar0-2.htm Narrators ] ] and early Muslim scholars. He died in 91 AH [ [http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/law/alalwani_usulalfiqh/ch3.html USC-MSA Compendium of Muslim Texts ] ]
