Scott Stahoviak is a former
Minnesota Twins first baseman andthird baseman . He was born on March 6, 1970, inWaukegan ,Illinois . He attendedCreighton University , and was an integral part ofCreighton's NCAA College World Series appearance (1991) . He batted left handed and threw right handed. Stahoviak was drafted by the Twins in the first round with the twenty-seventh overall pick in the 1991 amateur draft. He signed with the Twins on June 13, 1991. He made his major league debut in 1993 and also played from 1995 through 1998. During his first two years and for parts of his seasons in the majors, Stahoviak played in the minor leagues. He now coaches baseball atCarmel Catholic High School in Mundelein, Illinois.External links
