Spennells

Spennells is an area of Kidderminster. Spennells has a park with some woodland/nature reserve area around it, some shops including 2 takeaways and a Tesco express and many streets. There is a pond in the centre of Spennels called Captain's Pool and the streets are named after birds eg Pochard Close and Kittiwake Drive. Spennells also has a local first school. Spennells is next to Hoobrook and many streets come off the main road Spennells Valley Road (B road).

As of July 2007 Spennells First school has closed. It will be re-opened as Heronswood Primary school in September 2007.There is also a local park that was recently refurbished, and is popular with the locals. There is also a nursing home near to the park.There is also a multi sport hardcourt area attached to the park since April 2008. This area is localy known as "the cage", and is regularly inhabited by local kids
