Warrington ,England ) is a purpose built open Young Offenders Institution opened in 1985 on the site of a former Royal Naval Air Station which was initially used as an open adult establishment. As of October 2006 it had a capacity of 321 of single room accommodation with prisoners having their own room keys.The current governor is Derek Harrison.
Current rehabilitation schemes include training in gardening (horticulture), motor mechanics and catering. The institute also has post-release work placement and resettlement. Other services include parentcraft, drug awareness, anger management and other offending behaviour control programmes.
