Beaver Brae (2006 population 850) is a small secondary school situated in Kenora, Ontario, Canada. Beaver Brae was updated with a new student atrium in 2007. The atrium holds 2 large portraits painted by students themselves, a big screen TV, projectors, pictures and awards.

School discipline has been an issue at Beaver Brae, as evidenced by the suspension of over 40 students who watched a fistfight in June, 2007, but did not stop it. [ [http://new.mykenora.com/pollster/poll.php?questionsPage=2&qid=61&pid=1 poll ] ]

Professional hockey player Mike "Cannon" Richards of the Philadelphia Flyers was educated here, as was Mike Smith who competed in the 1988 Olympics.

Activities

The school is proud to support concert and jazz band, and is home to yearly dramatic productions. Beaver Brae also has several intermural sports teams, including volleyball, basketball, soccer, badminton, football, hockey, curling and a few others.

Musicals

Nearly every year Beaver Brae's drama department puts on a musical. In 2006 the play was "Grease". Previous productions have included "Bye Bye Birdie" (2004), and "Crazy for You" (2003).
