Panasonic 's firstBlu-ray Disc Player. It also supportsCD s andDVD s, including the discs recorded withAVCHD Camcorders. The Panasonic DMP-BD10A, the second-generation player released in 2007, has all of the same features with the exception of the disc drive being read-only. The change was made in order to reduce manufacturing costs, as the first-generation player contained aBD-R drive, but had the write feature disabled by firmware.Hardware Specifications
