Bion Barnett

Bion Barnett

Bion Barnett (1857 – October 30, 1958) was the primary founder of Barnett Bank, the largest bank in the U.S. state of Florida at the time of its acquisition by NationsBank in 1997.

He was born in Indiana, the son of William Boyd Barnett. Bion Barnett died in 1958 at age 101.
