Phi Beta Epsilon

Phi Beta Epsilon, or "PBE" for short, was founded April 1, 1890 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). It is a local fraternity. Located at 400 Memorial Drive in Cambridge, MA, the fraternity is one of MIT's largest and most diverse living groups. PBE has 71 members, as of April 2008.

PBE's official color is Peacock Blue, which is prominent on its fraternity jerseys.

Notable alumni include Irenee Dupont, Al Zesiger, J.B. Carr, and Ralph Landau, all of whom have buildings or facilities named after them at MIT.
