Romania , and the country's largest and most read sports-related publication. It is owned by theIntact Group , which also publishes "Jurnalul Naţional " and owns the Antena 1 television network.History
The newspaper was founded in 1924, even though it did not appear during the Communist period, when it was replaced by the "
Sportul " newspaper, published by theRomanian Communist Party . In 1990, "Gazeta Sporturilor" was re-established, being one of the first privatised newspapers in the country.On 25 July 2008, GSP TV, GSP TV 2 and GSP TV 3 were launched in the Intact Television Group dubbed "Trustul Antena 1" by the Romanians.
Antena 1 anounced a GSP TV 4 in the future, along Business TV and Top TV.
