"Future Lovers" is a dance-pop song written by American singer Madonna, and Mirwais, for Madonna's tenth studio album "Confessions on a Dance Floor" (2005). A new version of the song "Future Lovers/I Feel Love" was the opening performance for Madonna's 2006 "Confessions Tour".

"Future Lovers" is from the 2005 album "Confessions on a Dance Floor". This version does not contain a sample from the Donna Summer single "I Feel Love". There are certain similarities between the two songs and for the opening song on the 2006 Confessions Tour, a medley was created. "Future Lovers/I Feel Love" was released as a promotional CD single in January 2007 to promote the DVD/CD release of the tour.

Tour

A combination of "Future Lovers" and a cover version of "I Feel Love" opened the "Confessions Tour". In this performance, Madonna arrives in a disco-ball in equestrian-gear as she simulates riding her male dancers. The male dancers in this performance are dressed as horses wearing bliders and muzzles.
