Finiq

Finiqi ( _sq. Finiq or Finiqi, _el. Φοινίκη) is a small village in Southern Albania located 8 km from the Ionian Sea and 20 km north of the Greek border. It is the center of the commune of Finiq, which comprises six other villages: Vrion, Vromero, Karahaxh, Shënjan or Shijan, Mavropull and Çlirim (former SMT). Tha majority of its population lives now in Greece (mainly in Athens, at Gyzi area), where they settled after the year 1991.Fact|date=August 2008
