Dittomaster

Dittomaster

Dittomaster is the name of a Marvel Comics supervillain. Dittomaster first appeared in "Damage Control" II #4 (February 1990). Dittomaster's true form is unknown.

Fictional character biography

Dittomaster first appears when it went into Henry Peter Gyrich's office at the Commission on Superhuman Activities in the form of a woman. It manages to subdue him and take on his form. It was forced to steal his clothing, as it could not duplicate it.

Anne Marie Hoag was Gyrich's next appointment. At the time she led the influential Damage Control organization, which cleans up after super-hero battles. Her intent with Gyrich was to talk about her problems with the Superhero Registration Act and the Commission. Dittomaster, in the form of Henry Peter Gyrich, removes his gun. The intention was to force Anne Marie to sign in support of the act, then to take her out into the parking lot and kill her.

Ann Marie manages to smash the gun into Dittomaster's face and kick him/it in the crotch. This stunned Dittomaster enough for Nick Fury to force it to surrender.
