asteroid , discovered onOctober 5 ,2002 , by theLINEAR project. It was announced on October 7th, 2002, and appeared later that day on the JPL current risk page.Due to the proximity of its orbit to Earth and its estimated size, this object has been classified as a "Potentially Hazardous Asteroid" (PHA) by the
Minor Planet Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts. There are currently 823 PHAs.The size of mp|2002 TD|66 is not precisely known. Based on its absolute magnitude (H) of 19.91, the object is estimated to be between 270 and 590 meters in diameter.
On
February 25 ,2008 , mp|2002 TD|66 passed within 0.0432 AU from the Earth.External links
