Stockholm Cup International

The Stockholm Cup International is a Group 3 flat horse race in Sweden open to thoroughbreds which are three-years-old or above. It is run over a distance of 2,400 metres (approximately 1½ miles) on turf at Täby Racecourse, and it takes place annually in September.
When it was awarded Group 3 status in 1994, it became the first Pattern race outside of the main five flat racing countries in Europe. A second Swedish race, the Täby Open Sprint Championship, was given the same status in 1998.
