S. M. Jaleel and Company

S. M. Jaleel (also known as S.M. Jaleel and Company) is one of largest non-alcoholic beverage companies based in the country of Trinidad and Tobago. Located at Otaheite, South Oropouche, the S.M. Jaleel company produces several brands in their manufacturing facility.

Founded in 1924 S.M. Jaleel is one of the larger exporters of beverages to the wider Caribbean region. S.M. Jaleel also prides themselves on successfully competing against such soft drink giants such as Pepsi and Coca-Cola. Additionally the company lays claim to several first time accomplishments surrounding their "P. E. T." (polyethylene terephthalate) bottle technology.

The brands distributed or re-distributed by S.M. Jaleel include:

*Cole Cold,
*Fruta premium Juices,both in cans and now in Hot filled PET (Cuta Fruta & Fruta Max)
*Fruta Kool Kidz - Tetra pak 200 mL
*Oasis, Island Mist & Mount Pellier purified water (All NSF certified)
*Viva flavoured water

From 1999 to 2002 S.M. Jaleel and Co. was the sponsors of one of the largest cricket events in the Caribbean, known as the Busta Cricket Series. (Now known as the Carib Beer Cricket Series).
