ITV1 drama series "The Royal ".Cavanah left school at the age of 15 but later graduated from The Drama Centre, part of the
University of the Arts London .Prior to his current role he has taken a wide range of guest roles including appearances in "
Silent Witness ", "Casualty" and "The Bill ".A previous role, for which he is widely known, is as Tommy Grant in the
BBC1 soap opera "EastEnders ".Cavanah has also starred in the 1998 BBC1 version of
