Westlake High School plays in the
Marmonte League .The football team, known within the organization as the "Band of Brothers", is usually not ranked in the top 25 but ranked in the top 100 in California. Their first football
CIF title came in 1999 (13-1 record, having only lost one game by one point) and the team has since repeated as champions in 2003 (14-0).
