Servilius is the name of an illustrious Roman family. The most famous of the early Servilii was
Gaius Servilius Ahala who was famous for saving Rome from tyranny by killingSpurius Maelius in 439 BCE.In the later republic, the Servilii were an important force as the incomplete stemma below shows.
