Amalveor is a hamlet in West Penwith, Cornwall (50.17° N 05.53° W SW4837), United Kingdom. It is a few miles from St Ives and near the magnificent north coast. The area is primarily agricultural which is reflected in the housing stock. Amalveor Farm is about one mile due west of the Church and on 11th December 1931, a pair of gold bracelets were discovered in the course of farm work. At the inquest they were declared to be treasure trove on the evidence given and were dated as being of the middle Bronze Age about 1000BC They are in the British Museum.
