Rachuonyo District

Rachuonyo District

Rachuonyo District is an administrative district in the Nyanza Province of Kenya. Its capital town is Kosele. The district has a population of 307,126 (1999 census) and an area of 945 km² [http://www.statoids.com/yke.html] . The district has two constituencies: Kasipul Kabondodo and Karachuonyo.

Kenyan Cricketer Kenneth Ochieng Migai, brother of Thomas Odoyo is from Rachunoyo.
