Latin Grammy Award for Record of the Year

Latin Grammy Award for Record of the Year

The Record of the Year is one of the two most prestigious Latin Grammy Awards presented annually. It has been awarded since 2000. The honorees are the artists, producers, and engineers and/or mixers.

Years reflect the year in which the Latin Grammy Awards were handed out, for music released in the previous year.

Alejandro Sanz is the biggest winner in this category, with five victories (2006, 2005, 2004, 2002 and 2001). Shakira became the first female winner in 2006.
