Manticora is a Heavy metal band from Hvidovre, Denmark formed in 1996 by Lars and Kristian Larsen.[1] Their current label is Locomotive Music. Their lyrical content typically consists of literature, fantasy, and science fiction. Although they are considered to be a progressive power metal band, they do have an essence of a speed metal influence.
